Watching the different folders in your galery I've the feeling that many pictures are or would be part of a series. But the combination of the pictures in the folders doesn't allways really agree with that. Of course this is very specific for this DevianArtPage and it's structure, but it's part of the impression your artwork makes.

For example your Square Monochrome Landscape works shares the "non colour" and the format. That helps for the unity. I just wouldn't put the only sepia-picture right at the end.

The being square works share the format as well, but the subjects don't really fit in the order displayd. The contrast of the different kinds of photographs is interesting, but the arrangement on the site is not ideal. Maybe you can play around with this a bit and have a look at the different effects the photographs have on each other. (as far as I've seen, the DA-account makes it now possible to just change the order of the pictures in folders).

Would you say most of your pictures are single works or do you have series in mind? These two attitudes can be very different from each other and changes the value and meaning of works quite a lot.

I try to provide constructive critics and confrontation for inspiration, NOT only concerning technical skills, but ESPECIALLY trying to ask about the consistency and credibility of artworks.

If you're interested, I can be contactet via DA-messages.

Thank you so much for your input, I'll have a look at it. I guess most of my works are single works, but at times they blend into a series, I guess, without that necessarily being a concious choice :D

This is where i'm suppose to come up with something profound, but it never happens.

You're welcome ;-) And all the best for the continuation of your work!

It often happens in creative processes not to be aware of everything going on. Therefore you can surprise yourself. But after a while it often is advisable to take a step back and take a look from afar/from the outside at your own work and try to be as objective as possible with the analysis.

As a first input: Concerning the square format you are using in a series in your gallery I've shortly stumbled over another artis here on DA: ron-guyatt. He's a photographer too and his experimental works might be an inspiration.
I'll have a closer look at specivic works of you later.
